IS USED FOR
Provides relief of wet, productive
cough.
HOW WOODS’ PEPPERMINT
COUGH SYRUP WORKS
It helps loosen phlegm and thins
bronchial secretions to rid bronchial
passageways of bothersome mucus
and makes cough more productive.
BEFORE YOU TAKE WOODS’
PEPPERMINT COUGH SYRUP
_- When you must not take it _
There are no known contra-
indications except in cases where
individuals show hypersensitivity to
ingredients contained in the
formulation.
_- Before you start to take it _
◦ Do not take if you are allergic to
guaifenesin or any ingredients
contained in this drug.
◦ Tell your pharmacist or doctor if
you are pregnant or plan to become
pregnant or breastfeeding.
_- Taking other medicines _
Guaifenesin has no known serious
interactions with other drugs.
Therefore, before using this product,
tell your doctor or pharmacist of all
the products you use.
HOW TO TAKE WOODS’
PEPPERMINT COUGH SYRUP
_- How much to take _
Adults and children > 12 years : 10
ml (2 teaspoons)
Children 6 – 12 years : 5 ml (1
teaspoon)
Vary dosage according to age. Repeat
every 4 hours or as prescribed by
your doctor.
_- When to take it _
Productive cough
_- How long to take it _
See your doctor if no improvement
within 7 days.
_- If you forget to take it _
Take the missed dose as soon as you
remember it. However, if it is almost
time for the next dose, skip the
missed dose and continue your
regular dosing schedule. Do not take
