WHAT IS VEWODINA USED FOR
Vewodina is used for external
treatment of pain, inflammation and
swelling in:
•
Injuries of the tendons,
ligaments, muscles and
joints (e.g., sprains, bruises,
strains and back pain after
sports or accidents)
•
Tendonitis (e.g., tennis
elbow)
•
Mild arthritis of knee or
fingers
HOW VEWODINA WORKS
Vewodina contains the active
ingredient Diclofenac which belongs
to a group of medicines called non-
steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
(NSAIDs). It has pronounced anti-
inflammatory and anti-pyretic
properties. It inhibits a chemical
called prostaglandin which is
involved in inflammation. Vewodina
is designed for topical application.
BEFORE YOU USE VEWODINA
_-When you must not use it _
Do not use if you:
•
Are hypersensitive or have
asthma which is triggered
by medicines such as aspirin
or other NSAIDs.
•
Are hypersensitive to any of
the excipients listed in this
leaflet.
•
Are less than 14 years old.
•
Have severe heart failure.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Do not use Vewodina if you are in
your third trimester of pregnancy. If
you are in your first or second
trimester of pregnancy, consult your
doctor or pharmacist before using
this product.
If you are breastfeeding, consult your
doctor or pharmacist for advice
before using this product. The gel
should not be applied to breasts.

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if
you are pregnant or breastfeeding
before using.
This product contains an ingredient
called propylene glycol which may
cause mild, localized skin irritation
in some people.
