WHAT _TRIPROLIDINE-P _IS USED FOR
For relief of nasal and respiratory
congestion, common cold, acute sinus
inflammation and allergic nasal
inflammation.
HOW _TRIPROLIDINE-P _WORKS
_Triprolidine-P _
contains pseudoephedrine
hydrochloride, which is a decongestant that
relieves nasal and sinus congestion and
triprolidine hydrochloride which is an
antihistamine that helps stop sneezing, runny
nose and watery eyes.
BEFORE YOU USE _TRIPROLIDINE-P _
_- When you must not use it _

Do not take
_ Triprolidine-P_
if
• allergic to its active ingredient or to
other ingredients in it.
_ _
• you are taking, or have taken in the last
two weeks, medicines for depression
known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
• you are breastfeeding.
_- Before you start to use it _
Safety for use in pregnancy has not been
established. Get advice from a doctor or
pharmacist. Do not use in children less
than 2 years of age, and to be used with
caution and on doctor’s or pharmacist’s
advice in children 2 to 6 years of age.
Inform the doctor or pharmacist if you
have
• heart and blood vessel related disease
• raised pressure in the eyes
• high blood pressure
• overactive thyroid gland
• enlarged prostate
_- Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking tricyclic
antidepressants (for depression), atropine
(for stomach spasms) or any other
medicines that you buy without a
prescription from a pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.

_- How much to use _
Adults: 2 teaspoonfuls three or four time
