WHAT SUN-GLIZIDE TABLET IS USED FOR
It is used for non-insulin-dependent diabetes
to control blood sugar level.
HOW SUN-GLIZIDE TABLET WORKS
The active
ingredient
in the medicine is
gliclazide. Gliclazide is belongs to a group of
medicines called sulphonylureas that reduces
blood
glucose
levels
by
stimulating
the
release
of
insulin
from
beta
cells
in
the
pancreas. Thus lower the sugar in the blood.
BEFORE YOU USE SUN-GLIZIDE TABLET
_- When you must not use it _
Do not take Sun-Glizide
Tablet if you:

are hypersensitive to gliclazide or any of
the other ingredients listed at the end of the
leaflet.

insulin-dependent
diabetic,
diabetic
complicated
by
ketosis
and
acidosis,
precoma or coma diabetic.

undergoing surgery.

have any infections.

have severe kidney or liver disease.
_Pregnancy and breastfeeding _
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if
you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or
breast-feeding before using any medicine.
There

inadequate
evidence
of
safety
in
human pregnancy. It is not recommended for
pregnant women and nursing mothers unless
the expected benefit outweighs any potential
