WHAT SULPIN F.C_. _USED FOR
Sulpin F.C is used for the treatment of
acute and chronic schizophrenia.
HOW SULPIN F.C._ _WORKS
Sulpiride is slowly absorbed after oral
dosing. Sulpiride is a member of the
group of substituted benzamides. The
actions of Sulpiride hint at an important
distinction between different types of
dopamine receptors or receptor
mechanisms in the brain. Sulpiride shares
with these conventional neuroleptics
(drugs that function as tranquilizer) a
number of properties indicative of
cerebral dopamine receptor antagonism.
Sulpiride is a highly selective dopamine
antagonist nd antidepressant and
antipsychotic activity

_When you must not use it_

Do not take Sulpin F.C. Tablet if:
•
You have phaeochromocytoma (a small
vascular tumor of the adrenal medulla)
and acute porphyria (metabolic disorder
affecting the blood).
•
have
concomitant
prolactin-dependent
tumours
e.g.
pituitary
gland
prolactinomas and breast cancer
•
You are hypersensitivity to the active
ingredient or to other ingredients of the
drug.
•
You have association with levodopa.

Do not take Sulpin F.C. Tablet

if you are
pregnant, trying to get pregnant or think
you may be pregnant.
Do not take

Sulpin F.C. Tablet if you are
breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or
pharmacist for advice before taking any
medicine.

_Before you start use it _
Sulpin F.C. Tablet can increased motor
agitation and cause extrapyramidal
reaction such as akathisia (a state of
agitation, distress, and restlessness).
