WHAT STERIPREP IS USED FOR
SteriPrep is used as an antiseptic for
skin.
HOW STERIPREP WORKS
SteriPrep
contains
chlorhexidine,
which kills or prevents wide range of
bacteria growth by disrupting the cell
membrane.
It also works against some virus and
fungi.
BEFORE YOU USE STERIPREP
_- When you must not use it _
Do not use SteriPrep:
- if you are allergic to chlorhexidine
gluconate or Isopropyl alcohol or to
any other ingredients of this medicine
(listed in Product Description section.)
- as skin antiseptic for the face and head
before an operation.

HOW TO USE STERIPREP
_- How much to use _
Do
not
dilute.
To
be
used
in
full
strength.
Direction for Use
If skin is visibly soiled, cleanse and dry
before
using
SteriPrep.
Apply
SteriPrep to the site by pouring directly
from the container or by using sterile
gauze and permit to dry.
SteriPrep with Applicator: Remove the
cap. Hold the applicator bottle in a
downward position. Press against the
skin and squeeze the bottle gently to
allow SteriPrep antiseptic solution to
flow
into
sponge.
Rub
the
sponge
gently over skin, covering the skin area
that needs to be prepared and permit to
dry. Discard the bottle after each use.
