WHAT SELSUN 2.5% SUSPENSION
TREATMENT IS USED FOR
Selsun Suspension Treatment is for
treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis (a
greasy, crusting, itching scalp caused by
excess oil), tinea versicolor (fungal
infection of the skin characterized by
small, discolored patches), dandruff and
as an adjunct in the treatment of tinea
capitis (superficial fungal infection of the
skin of the scalp, eyebrows, and
eyelashes, with a propensity for attacking
hair shafts and follicles).
HOW SELSUN 2.5% SUSPENSION
TREATMENT WORKS
It works by reducing greasiness of the
scalp and by slowing down growth of the
layer of skin cells on the scalp that cause
dandruff.
Besides that, it has antifungal activity
which works by slowing down the
growth of fungus that caused the
symptoms

Do not use this product if you are
allergic to ingredients of this product.
Do not use this on infants.

_Pregnancy and breastfeeding _
Do not take Selsun for treatment of tinea
versicolor in pregnant women.
Do not take Selsun if you are breast-
feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking any medicine

_Before you start use it _

Do not swallow and avoid contact
with eyes.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use on broken or inflamed
skin.

Skin irritation or discoloration of
hair may occur and can be
minimized or avoided by rinsing
thoroughly. If skin irritation
persists, discontinue use.

Avoid use 48 hours before or afte
