WHAT _PRITAMOL _IS USED FOR
It is used for the relief of fever and pain.
HOW _PRITAMOL _WORKS
_Pritamol _
contains paracetamol, a medicine
which works by relieving pain and reducing
high temperature and fever.
BEFORE YOU USE _PRITAMOL _

Do not take

if allergic to
paracetamol or to other ingredients in it.

Allergy alert: Paracetamol may cause
severe skin reactions. Symptoms may
include skin reddening, blisters or rash.
These could be signs of a serious condition.
If these reactions occur, stop use and seek
medical assistance right away.
_- Before you start to use it _
Inform the doctor or pharmacist if there
are liver or kidney problems, or regularly
taking other medicines that induce the liver
enzyme. Long term use should be avoided.
_- Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking any
other medicines, including any that you
buy without a prescription from a
pharmacy, supermarket or health food
shop.
HOW TO USE _PRITAMOL _
_- How much to use _
Adults: oral, 500mg to 1 gm three to four
times daily. Total daily dose should not
exceed 4gm. Children 7 - 12 years: Oral,
250 to 500mg three to four times daily.
Children 4 to 6 years: Oral, 250mg three
times daily.
Follow all directions given by your doctor
and pharmacist carefully. They may differ
from the information contained in this
leaflet. If you do not understand the
instructions on the label, ask your doctor or
pharmacist for help.

Use as directed by your doctor or
pharmacist.
_- How long to use it _
Continue taking
_Pritamol _
for as long as
your doctor recommends.
_- If you forget
