WHAT _HYDROCORTISONE _IS USED FOR
Dermatitis, eczema and other inflammatory
skin conditions where steroid is indicated.
HOW _HYDROCORTISONE _WORKS
_Hydrocortisone _
contains a medicine, which
belongs to a group called corticosteroids,
which act to relieve pain and swelling.
BEFORE YOU USE _HYDROCORTISONE _
_- When you must not use it _

allergic to hydrocortisone or other
ingredients of
_Hydrocortisone_
- systemic fungal infections
- acute infections including herpes zoster
and herpes simplex
- ulceration of the eyes
- vaccination with live vaccine
_- Before you start to use it _
Do not use around or in eyes. Do not
bandage or wrap the treated skin area
unless directed to do so by physician. Long
continuous use should be avoided as this
may give rise to rebound following sudden
withdrawal. Caution in individuals with
infection at treatment site or tuberculosis
of the skin.
_- Taking other medicines _
The medicine is for topical application and
will usually have minimal effect on other
medication. However, please inform the
doctor or pharmacist if taking other
medicines.
HOW TO USE _HYDROCORTISONE _
_- How much to use _
Apply sparingly over affected skin 3 – 4
times daily, or as directed by physician

pharmacist.
