USED
FOR
Pharmaniaga
Loratadine
Tablet
10mg
is
used
to
relief
symptoms
associated
with
allergic
rhinitis
(inflammation
of
the
mucous
membrane
inside
the
nose)
for
example
sneezing,
nasal
discharge
(rhinorrhea) and itching, as well as
ocular
(eye)
itching
and
burning,
chronic urticaria (a raised, itchy rash
that appears on the skin) and other
allergic dermatologic disorders.
HOW
PHARMANIAGA
LORATADINE
TABLET 10MG WORKS
It works by preventing the effects of
a substance called histamine, which
is produced in the body. Histamine
can cause itching, sneezing, runny
nose and watery eyes. In some cases,
it can close up the air passage of the
lungs and make breathing difficult.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
PHARMANIAGA
LORATADINE TABLET 10MG
_-When you must not use it _
Do not take Pharmaniaga Loratadine
Tablet 10mg if:
•
You are allergic
(hypersensitive)
to loratadine or any of the other
ingredients.
•
The patient is a child under two
years
of age.
_-Before you start to use it _
Check
with
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
before
taking
your
medicine if:
•
You have liver problems.
•
You are about to have skin tests.
Stop taking this medicine at least
48 hours before skin testing
.
_-Taking other medicines _
You should tell your doctor if you
are taking the following medicine as
it
may
interact
with
your
Pharmaniaga
Loratadine
Tablet
10mg:
•
Ketoconazole
(antifungal
medication)
•
Erythromycin (antibiotic)

Cimetidine
