WHAT PCD COUGH LINCTUS IS
USED FOR
PCD Cough Linctus is used for
relief of unproductive irritating
coughs associated with the
common cold, sinusitis, flu and
infections of the upper respiratory
tract. Also suitable for cough
treatment for diabetics.
HOW PCD COUGH LINCTUS WORKS
PCD Cough Linctus contains
Pholcodine as active ingredient.
Pholcodine is a medicine which is
an opioid cough suppressant.
Ask your pharmacist or doctor if
you have any questions about this
medicine.
BEFORE YOU USE PCD COUGH
LINCTUS_ _
_-When you must not use it_
Do not take PCD Cough Linctus
if:
•
You are allergic (hypersensitive)
to Pholcodine or bisulphites or
to any of the other ingredients in
this medicine.
_-Before you start to use it_
Tell your pharmacist or doctor:
•
If you have or have had asthma
or other breathing problems.
•
If you have a liver problem.
Pregnancy and breast feeding:
No direct or indirect harmful
effects on the fetus having
observed if Pholcodine taken by a
pregnant woman. It is not
recommended for nursing mothers
unless the expected benefit to the
mother outweighs any potential
risk to the infant.
