CAUSES EYE IRRITATION. Avoid contact with the eyes. When using wear
gloves. Wash
thoroughly exposed skin before meals and after use.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove
contact
lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation
persists: Get
medical advice/attention.
HARMFUL TO AQUATIC LIFE. Avoid contamination of any water supply with
chemical or
empty container. The substance must not be applied onto or into water.

SLUG
AND
SNAIL
BAIT
is
a
patented,
specially
formulated
bait
containing iron phosphate which is a natural component of the soil.
Any uneaten bait
will degrade and become part of the soil in the garden.
After ingesting small amounts of this bait, slugs and snails cease
feeding. Affected
slugs and snails die within three to six days. Dead slugs and snails
may not be
readily visible as they often crawl away to secluded places to die.
HOW TO USE
RATE: Evenly apply about 5g (1 teaspoon) per square metre. Apply more
heavily if
the infestation is severe, if the area is heavily watered or after
long periods of heavy
rain. Reapply as the bait is consumed or at least every two weeks
while slugs or
snails continue to be a problem.
METHOD: Scatter the bait granules on the soil around or near the
plants to be
protected. DO NOT PLACE THE BAIT IN HEAPS. If the ground is dry,
lightly water it before
applying the bait. The soil should be moist but not with surface water
present.
TIMING: Evening is the best time to apply the bait, as slugs and
snails travel and
feed mostly at night or early morning. The bait is ideal for
