Manufacturer and Product Registration Holder 10. Date of revision WHAT _MEFUROSAN_ IS USED FOR Relief of the inflammatory and itchiness of skin allergies responsive to corticosteroids. HOW _MEFUROSAN_ WORKS Mefurosan cream is one of a group of medicines called topical corticosteroids with anti-inflammatory activity. BEFORE YOU USE _MEFUROSAN_ - _When you must not use it _ Do not use _Mefurosan: _ • if you are allergic to momentasone furoate or to other corticosteroids or to any of the ingredients in the cream. • If you have facial rosacea, acne, skin thinning, skin allergic around the mouth, anal, genital area, nappy rash, bacterial viral, parasite and fungal infections, chicken pox, tuberculosis, syphilis or post-vaccine reactions. • Do not use on wounds or on skin that has ulcer. • If your child is below 2 years old. _Pregnancy and lactation _ It should only be used during pregnancy and lactation if there are more benefits compared to the risks to the child. If usage is justified, use only in small amounts for a short period of time during pregnancy. It is not likely for _Mefurosan_ to be present in breast milk in quantities that can harm the baby. Please consult the doctor or pharmacist on the use of _Mefurosan_ if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. - _Before you start to use it _ You should always follow these instructions when using _Mefurosan_ : • Use on the face is not recommended unless directed by the physician, limited to a period of 5 days without covering treated areas. • You should check with your doctor before covering the treated areas with a bandage or plaster.
