WHAT KETOZOL IS USED FOR
It is used for fungal and yeast infections of
the skin of the chest or back (pityriasis
versicolor), foot (athlete’s foot), trunk, legs
and arms (tinea corporis), groin (tinea
cruris and scalp (seborrheic dermatitis).
HOW KETOZOL_ _WORKS
It is an antifungal, which works by killing
the fungus that causes the infections.
BEFORE YOU USE KETOZOL
_- When you must not use it _ -
allergic to the ingredients of the product.

_- Before you start to use it _
Compliance with full course of therapy,
fungal infection may require prolonged
treatment. Any steroid cream treatment
should be reduced gradually when starting
on ketoconazole cream to avoid skin
irritation. This cream is not for use of the
eyes.

_- Taking other medicines _
The medicine is for topical application,
usually will have minimal effect on other
medications. However, please inform the
doctor or pharmacist if taking other
medicines.
HOW TO USE KETOZOL
_- How much to use _
Apply once or twice daily and continue
for at least a few days after symptoms
disappear. Depending on the severity of
the infection, the usual duration of
treatment for: white spots: 2-3 weeks,
yeast infections: 2-3 weeks, skin: 2-4
weeks, scalp: 3 - 4 weeks, legs: 4-6 weeks,
dandruff: 2 - 4 weeks. Diagnosis should be
reconsidered if no improvement is noted
after 4 weeks of treatment.
