EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers cholesterol in the blood by inhibiting
cholesterol synthesis in the liver.
It is usually used to treat hypercholesterolemia, familial
hypercholesterolemia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have liver or renal disorder.
・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)

・In general, for adults, take 20 to 30 mg of fluvastatin at a time,
once a day after dinner. The
initial dose is started with 20 mg once a day. The dosage may be
adjusted according to the
age or symptoms, however, the dose may be increased up to 60 mg a day
in severe case.
This medicine contains 20 mg of fluvastatin in a tablet. Strictly
follow the instructions.
