WHAT FLUCOR DAY PE SOFT GELATIN
CAPSULE IS USED FOR
Temporary relieves nasal congestion,
pains; reduces fever and relieves
symptoms of cold, cough and flu.
HOW FLUCOR DAY PE SOFT GELATIN
CAPSULE WORKS
Paracetamol relieves pain by blocking
the pain messages from getting through
to the brain. It also acts in the brain to
reduce fever.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride acts as a
decongestant by clearing the nose, nasal
passages and sinuses so that it is easier
to breathe. It narrows the blood vessels
in the affected areas.
Dextromethorphan suppresses dry
cough by acting on the cough centre in
the brain.
BEFORE YOU USE FLUCOR DAY PE SOFT
GELATIN CAPSULE
_When you must not take it _
Do not take this medicine if:
•
you are allergic to paracetamol,
phenylephrine hydrochloride and
dextromethorphan hydrobromide or
any of the excipients
•
you have taken monoamine oxidase
in the last 14 days
•
you have very high blood pressure
•
you are having an asthma attack
•
you are pregnant or plan to be
pregnant.
_Before you start to take it _
Tell your doctor if:
•
you have thyroid disease
•
you are breastfeeding or plan to
become pregnant
•
you drink alcohol regularly
•
you have kidney problems
•
you have liver problems
•
you have high blood pressure
•
you have heart disease and poor
blood flow in the heart
•
you have epilepsy
•
you have prostrate problems
•
you have glaucoma (high pressure
in the eyes)
