WHAT Euvein 500 Film Coated
Tablet IS USED FOR
Euvein 500Film Coated Tablet
contains the active ingredient
Micronized Flavonoids which is
equivalent to Diosmin 450 mg +
Hesperidin 50 mg.
Euvein 500 Film Coated Tablet is
a phlebotonic that
increases the venous tone and
protects the vessels. Treatment of
symptoms related to
venolymphatic insufficiency
( heavy legs, pain, early morning
restless legs). Treatment of
functional symptoms related to
acute hemorrhoidal attacks.
HOW Euvein 500 Film Coated
Tablet WORKS
It works by reducing the
swelling (inflammation) and
restoring vein function back to
normal.
BEFORE YOU USE Euvein 500
Film Coated Tablet

When you must not use it
Do not take Euvein 500
Film Coated Tablet if you:

Have ever had an allergic reaction
or been told that you are allergic to
the active ingredient of Euvein 500
Film Coated Tablet or any of the
other ingredients in Euvein 500
Film Coated Tablet.

Before you start to use it
Tell your doctor if you have
allergies to any other
medicine, foods, preservatives
or dyes.
If you are not sure whether you
should start taking this
medicine, consult your doctor.

Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor if you are taking
any other medicine, including any
that you buy without a
prescription. You may need to use
different amounts of these
medicines, or you may need to take
different medicines. Your doctor
will advise you.
However, currently there are no
known interaction between
Euvein 500 Film Coated Tablet
with other medicines.

Each film-coated tablets contains 500 mg of
Micronized Flavonoids which is

PRESENTATION/PACKAGING
Brown,
oval,
slightly
convex,
film
coated
tablets in PVC/aluminum blisters. Each box
contains 30
tablets presented in
10 tablets
per
blister
together
with
a
patient
information leaflet.
PHARMACODYNAMICS
Venotonic and vascular protector.

Pharmacology
It is active upon the return vascular system in
the following way :
- it reduces venous distensibility and stasis,
- in the microcirculation, it normalises
capillary permeability and increases
capillary resistance.

Clinical Pharmacology
Double blind controlled studies using
methods by which the effects of the product
on venous haemodynamics could be
demonstrated and quantified have confirmed
the above pharmacological properties in man.

Clinical trials
Double-blind placebo-controlled trials have
demonstrated the activity of the drug in
phlebology, in the treament of chronic venous
sufficiency of the lower limbs (both function
and organic).
PHARMACOKINETICS
In man, following oral administation of
the substance containing Euvein
500
:

excretion is mainly faecal, a mean of 14%
of the dose administered is excreted in the
urine.

evidence by the presence of various phenol
