For the treatment of diseases caused by susceptible bacterial pathogen
in dogs and cats. Bacterial
infections of bones in dogs and cats; ear and skin infections caused
by Pseudomonas in dogs
and cats; urinary tract infection in dogs and cats; infection of the
(male) reproductive tract (
prostatitis, vesiculitis, orchitis ) in the dog; certain infections of
dogs and cats in locations where poor
tissue penetration by other antimicrobial drugs can be expected and
where the condition is caused
by a susceptible organism which does not respond readily to other
antibiotics.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
RESTRAINTS
DO NOT USE in food producing species of animals.
Recommended for use only in companion animals where culture and
sensitivity testing indicate no
suitable alternative.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Not for use in dogs less than one year of age, or cats less than 12
weeks of age. Use with extreme
care in giant breeds up to 18months old.
There is a risk of retinal degeneration in cats at high doses esp.
elderly cats and those suffering from
renal/hepatic disease.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
The dose of Enrotril Oral in dogs and cats is 5 mg/ kg per day
equivalent to: 1mL Enrotril Oral
Antibacterial Solution per 5 kg bodyweight. Treat for 5 to 10 days.
FIRST AID
If poisoning occurs do not induce vomiting, contact a doctor or
Poisons Information Centre.
