WHAT DYNA CEPHALEXIN CAPSULE IS
USED FOR
Dyna Cephalexin Capsule is an
antibiotic which is indicated in the
treatment of the following infections
due to susceptible microorganisms:
•
Respiratory tract infections
•
Otitis media (ear infection)
•
Bone infections
•
Genitourinary (urinary) tract
infections, including acute
prostatitis
•
Dental infections
HOW DYNA CEPHALEXIN CAPSULE
WORKS
Cephalexin is bactericidal and acts
similarly to the penicillin. It works by
inhibiting synthesis of the bacteria that
cause infections.
BEFORE YOU USE DYNA CEPHALEXIN
CAPSULE

_When you must not use it _
Do not use Dyna Cephalexin Capsule
in patients with known allergy to the
Cephalosporin group of antibiotics
_Pregnancy and lactation _

Do not take Dyna Cephalexin Capsule
if you are pregnant, trying to get
pregnant or think you may be
pregnant.
Do not take Dyna Cephalexin Capsule
if you are breast-feeding. Ask your
doctor or pharmacist for advice before
taking any medicine.

_Before you start use it _
Tell your doctor if you have:
- Hypersensitivity reactions to
Cephalosporins and Penicillin
previously.
- Severe renal impairment
- Acute porphyria (group of
disorders that affects the nervous
system)
- History of gastrointestinal
disease.

_Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking
Probenecid or any other medicines,
including any that you buy without a
prescription from a pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.
