WHAT DIPROGENTA CREAM IS
USED FOR
Diprogenta Cream is a
medication used on the skin to
treat bacterial infections,
including eczema, dermatitis and
psoriasis of the scalp, hands and
feet as diagnosed by your doctor.
Eczema is a common skin
disease, which causes the skin to
become red and itchy. Dermatitis
is inflammation of the skin.
Psoriasis is a skin disease in
which itchy, scaly, pink patches
develop on the elbows, knees,
scalp and other parts of the body.
HOW DIPROGENTA CREAM WORKS
Diprogenta Cream contains the
active ingredients betamethasone
dipropionate and gentamicin
sulfate.
Betamethasone dipropionate
belongs to a group of medicines
called topical corticosteroids
which are used on the surface of
the skin to reduce the redness and
itchiness caused by certain skin
problems.
Gentamicin belongs to a group of
medicines called broad spectrum
antibiotics and is effective in
treating various types of common
skin problems that are caused by
bacterial infections.

If you are allergic to any of
the ingredients in this
medicine (listed in
“_INGREDIENTS_”).

If you have skin problems
such as vaccinia, varicella,
and tuberculosis as told by
your doctor.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist
before using Diprogenta Cream.
This medicine should not be used
under bandages or occlusive
dressings.

FOR DERMATOLOGIC AL USE ONLY
DESCRIPTION
DIPROGENTA Cream and Ointment provide in each gram 0.64 mg of betamethasone
dipropionate equivalent to 0.5 mg (0.05%) of betamethasone and gentamicin sulfate ,
equivalent to 1 mg (0.1%) of gentamicin base.
Inactive ingredients : Cream: Chlorocresol, Sodium Phosphate Monobasic Monohydrate,
Phosphoric Acid, White Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Ceteth 20, Purified
Water. Ointment: Mineral Oil, White Petrolatum.
Appearance:
Cream: A smooth, white, uniform cream, free from foreign matter.
Ointment: A smooth, uniform off -white ointment, free from foreign matter.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Phar macotherapeutic Group:
Topical corticosteroid and anti -infective in combination.
Mechanism of Action :
DIPROGENTA CREAM or OINTMENT combines the sustained anti -inflammatory ,
antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions of betamethasone dipropionate with the w ide -
spectrum bactericidal antibiotic activity of gentamicin sulfate.
Gentamicin, a wide spectrum bactericidal antibiotic, is effective against a broad spectrum of
common skin pathogens.
