1.WHAT DINEMIC IS USED FOR:
Trimetazidine is indicated in adults
as
add-on
therapy
for
the
symptomatic
treatment
of
patients
with stable angina pectoris who are
inadequately
controlled
by
or
intolerant
to
first-line
antianginal
therapies.
2. HOW DINEMIC WORKS
Dinemic protects the heart cell from
the effects of reduced oxygen supply
(ischemia)
during
an
episode
of
angina (chest pain).
3. BEFORE YOU TAKE DINEMIC
When you must not use it:
-Parkinson
disease,
parkinsonian
symptoms,
tremors,
restless
leg
syndrome
and
other
related
movement disorders.
-Severe renal impairment (creatinine
clearance < 30ml/min).
Do not use Dinemic 20mg tablets if
you
have
hypersensitivity
or
intolerance to trimetazidine.
Before you start to take Dinemic:
Tell
your
doctor
if
you
have
allergies
to
any
other
medicines,
foods, preservatives or dyes.
Tell your doctor if you:
• Suffer from kidney disease,
• Suffer from liver disease,
• Suffer from high blood pressure.
Taking / using other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if
you
are
taking
or
if
you
have
recently taken any other medicines,
including
medicines
obtained
without a prescription.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Safety of use of Dinemic in pregnant
and nursing mothers has not been
established.
As a precaution, Dinemic is not to
be
taken
during
pregnancy
or
breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant,
think you are pregnant or planned to
get pregnant.
