WHAT DEQUADIN LOZENGES IS USED FOR
Dequadin Lozenges is used for
symptomatic relief of sore throat.
HOW DEQUADIN LOZENGES WORKS
Dequadin Lozenges contains
dequalinium chloride as an active
ingredient. Dequalinium chloride has
antiseptic effect and works by killing a
wide range of bacteria, some fungi and
viruses.
BEFORE YOU USE DEQUADIN LOZENGES
_ When you must not use it _
Do not take this medicine if you have
an allergy to:

dequalinium chloride
•
any of the other ingredients
listed at the end of this leaflet
Do not take this medicine after the
expiry date printed on the pack or if the
packaging is torn or shows signs of
tampering. If it has expired or is
damaged, return it to your pharmacist
for disposal.
If you are not sure whether you should
start taking this medicine, talk to your
doctor.
_Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
have allergies to any other medicines,
foods, preservatives or dyes.
_Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking any other medicines,
including any that you get without a
prescription from your pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.
Some medicines and Dequadin
Lozenges may interfere with each
other.
Your doctor and pharmacist have more
information on medicines to be careful
with or avoid while taking this
medicine.
HOW TO USE DEQUADIN LOZENGES
_How much to use _
Suck one lozenge slowly. Repeat as
necessary.
_When to use it _
Take Dequadin Lozenges as needed to
relieve sore throat.
_How long to use it _
Continue taking Dequadin Lozenges
for as long as your doctor recommends.
