What Coldmax Suspension is used for
Coldmax Suspension relieves common cold
and flu symptoms including fever and pain,
headache, body aches, nasal congestion and
runny nose It also relieves allergies symptoms
such as sneezing, itching and watery eyes.
How Coldmax Suspension works
Coldmax Suspension contains 3 active
ingredients. Paracetamol helps to ease pain and
reduce fever. It is rapidly and completely
absorbed following oral administration and
will exert its effect between 30 minutes to 2
hours later. This effect could last for 3 to 4
hours. Pseudoephedrine HCl acts directly on α-
adrenergic receptors in the respiratory tract
mucosa producing vasoconstriction resulting in
the shrinkage of swollen nasal mucous
membrane, reduction of tissue hyperaemia,
oedema, nasal congestion, and an increase in
nasal airway potency. Chlorpheniramine
Maleate acts to relieve the allergic conditions
by antagonizing the effects of histamine.
Before you use Coldmax Suspension
When you must not take it
Do not take this product if you are allergic
(hypersensitivity) to Paracetamol,
Pseudoephedrine and Chlorpheniramine or any
other ingredients in it.
This product should not be taken for patient
with severe hypertension ad coronary heart
diseases.
Do not give this product to children less than 2
years of age.
Before you start to use it
Used with caution and doctor’s advice in
children 2 to 6 years of age.

or kidney disease, hypertension, heart disease,
thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, asthma,
