WHAT CARTRIL-S IS USED FOR
Cartril-S is used as an adjuvant therapy
for
osteoarthritis,
a
medical
condition
where
the
cartilage
that
cushions
the
ends of bones in the joints deteriorates
over time, eventually causing pain and
affecting mobility.
HOW CARTRIL-S WORKS
Glucosamine is a natural component of
cartilage – which is found in the joints in
between the bones. It is synthesized by
the body, but the ability to do so declines
with age. Researchers think that taking
glucosamine
supplements
may
help
increase
the
cartilage
content
in
the
joints.
BEFORE YOU USE CARTRIL-S

_When you must not use it_
You should not use Cartril-S:
•
if you are allergic to glucosamine or to
any of the other ingredients of Cartril-
S whether in the form of capsule or
solution.
•
if
you
are
allergic
to
seafood,
as
glucosamine is obtained from seafood.

_Before you start use it_
In pregnancy and lactation, seek medical
advice before use.

_Taking other medicines_
Tell your doctor if you are taking any
other medicines, including any that you
buy
without
a
prescription
from
a
pharmacy,
supermarket
or
health
food
shop.
HOW TO USE CARTRIL-S
-
_How much to use_
_Light or moderate osteoarthritis:_
Two (2) capsules taken twice daily for at
least 6 weeks (or according to medical
prescription)
_Severe osteoarthritis _
Initial therapy:
Two (2) capsules taken 3 times daily for
a period of at least 8 weeks
Follow up therapy:
Maintenance therapy should be followed
for
3
to
4
months
(or
according
to
medical prescription) by administrating
two (2) capsules twice daily

_When to use it_
Take Cartril-S 15 minutes before each
meal.
