DESCRIPTION:
BRAVECTO (Fluralaner Chewable Tablets) for dogs are light to dark
brown flavoured chewable
tablets containing 112.5 mg, 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg or 1400 mg of
fluralaner respectively.
Each tablet is formulated to provide a minimum dose of 25 mg/kg body
weight.
THERAPEUTIC CLASSIFICATION:
Antiparasitic
INDICATIONS
:
BRAVECTO chewable tablets are indicated for dogs and puppies 6 months
of age and older and
weighing 2 kg or greater.
BRAVECTO chewable tablets kill fleas and are indicated for the
treatment and prevention of
flea infestations (
_Ctenocephalides felis_
) and for the treatment and control of tick infestations with
_Dermacentor variabilis _
(American dog tick) and
_Haemaphysalis longicornis_
(Asian longhorned
tick) for 12 weeks.
BRAVECTO chewable tablets are also indicated as an aid in the
treatment and control of tick
infestations with
_Ixodes scapularis _
(black-legged tick) and
_Rhipicephalus sanguineus _
(brown
dog tick) for 12 weeks.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
:
BRAVECTO chewable tablets should be administered orally as a single
dose every 12 weeks
according to the
DOSAGE SCHEDULE
below to provide a minimum dose of 25 mg/kg body weight.
BRAVECTO chewable tablets should be administered with food.
