1. WHAT BIOGESIC SUSPENSION IS USED
FOR
:
For the relief of fever. For the relief
from mild to moderate pain.
2. HOW BIOGESIC SUSPENSION WORKS
Paracetamol is a centrally acting
analgesic and antipyretic with minimal
anti-inflammatory properties. It works
by inhibiting prostaglandin production
and acting on the body temperature
regulating center in the brain.
3. BEFORE YOU USE BIOGESIC
SUSPENSION
_- When you must not use it _
Do not take this medicine if you have
an allergy to:
-
Paracetamol or any of the
other ingredients listed at the
end of this leaflet
-
any other similar medicines
Do not take Biogesic suspension
if you:
-
are taking any other
paracetamol-containing
products
If any of these apply to you, get advice
from a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take this medicine after the
expiry date printed on the pack or if
the packaging is torn or shows signs of
tampering. If it has expired or is
damaged, return it to your pharmacist
for disposal. If you are not sure
whether you should start taking this
medicine, talk to your doctor
_- Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor if you have:

allergies to any other
medicines, foods,
preservatives or dyes.

impaired kidney or liver
function.
If you have not told your doctor about
any of the above, tell him/her before
you start taking Biogesic suspension.
_- Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking any other medicines,
including warfarin and coumarins.
