WHAT BELCID SUSPENSION
IS USED
FOR
BELCID
SUSPENSION
is
used
in
symptomatic
relief
of
gastric
hyperacidity,
heartburn,
flatulence
(wind) and stomach and intestinal ulcer
pain.
HOW BELCID SUSPENSION WORKS
BELCID
SUSPENSION
contains
Aluminum
hydroxide,
Magnesium
hydroxide
and
Simethicone.
It
is
an
antacid
which
relieves
symptoms
by
neutralising stomach acid and has an
antifoaming agent which aids removal
of gas.
BEFORE YOU USE BELCID

Do not take BELCID SUSPENSION if:

You
are
allergic
to
any
of
the
active and other ingredients.

You suffer from kidney failure.

_Before you start to use it _
Ask
your
pharmacist
or
doctor
before
taking BELCID SUSPENSION if:

You have kidney insufficiency.

_Taking other medicines _
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if
you are taking or have recently taken any
other
medicines,
including
medicines
obtained
without
a
prescription.
Especially:

Tetracycline (antibiotic)

Digoxin (for heart disease)

Indomethacin (pain killer)

Iron salts (iron supplement)

Dicumarol (blood thinning).
HOW TO USE BELCID SUSPENSION

_How much to use _
1 tablespoonful, 4 times daily, 1 hour
after meals and at bedtime or as directed
by the physician.

_When to use it _
BELCID SUSPENSION should not be
taken
at
the
same
time
as
other
medicines.
These
medicines
should
be
spaced 1-2 hours from doses of BELCID.
