AXCEL
DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE
TABLET IS USED FOR
Axcel Dexchlorpheniramine Tablets is
used
to
treat
allergic
conditions
including:
•
Hay fever.
•
Hives.
•
Swelling under the skin.
•
Vasomotor rhinitis (inflammation
of the lining inside the nose).
•
Allergic.
•
Eczema.
•
Atopic
and
contact
skin
inflammation.
•
Medicine and blood reactions
•
Insect bites.
•
Itching.
HOW
AXCEL
DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE
TABLET WORKS
Dexchlorpheniramine
Maleate
is
an
antihistamine. It works by blocking a
certain natural substance (histamine)
that
your
body
makes
during
an
allergic reaction. The antimuscarinic
action provides a drying effect on the
nasal lining.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
AXCEL
DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE TABLET

Do
not
take
Axcel
Dexchlorpheniramine Tablet if:

You are allergic or hypersensitive
to
antihistamines
or
other
ingredients in this medicine.
•
You
are
pregnant
and
nursing
mother.
•
You
give
it
to
newborn
or
premature infants.
•
Your child is below 2 years old.

Tell your doctor if:

You have narrow angle glaucoma
(build up pressure in the eye).
•
You have history of asthma.
•
You have a raised level of thyroid
hormone.

You have heart or blood vessel
disease.

enlargement
