WHAT AXCEL CHLOROQUINE TABLET IS
USED FOR
Axcel Chloroquine Tablet is used for
the treatment and suppression of vivax
malaria (common), falciparum malaria
(severe),
giardiasis
(infection
of
the
intestine),
chronic
lupus
erythematosus
(autoimmune
disease)
and other skin diseases, inflammation
of
the
liver
such
as
extraintestinal
amoebiasis
(amoebic
hepatitis)
and
liver abscess, and rheumatoid arthritis
(inflammation
of
the
joints
and
surrounding tissues).
HOW
AXCEL
CHLOROQUINE
TABLET
WORKS
Axcel
Chloroquine
Tablet
contains
chloroquine
phosphate.
Chloroquine
phosphate is an anti-malarial. It acts
on the malarial parasite in the blood
stream, and may prevent, suppress or
treat the disease depending upon the
strain of parasite contracted and the
progression of the disease.
BEFORE YOU USE AXCEL CHLOROQUINE
TABLET
_-When you must not use it _
Do not take Axcel Chloroquine Tablet
if:

You are allergic or hypersensitive
to Chloroquine Phosphate.

You are pregnant unless the risk
of
malaria
is
greater
than
the
possible
risk
of
damage
to
the
foetus.

You
have
either
severe
gastrointestinal, neurological and
blood
disorders,
or
liver
impairment.

You use any application of gold
or phenylbutazone.
