WHAT APO-LATANOPROST
IS USED FOR
Apo-Latanoprost is a prescription
medication containing the active
ingredient, latanoprost. Apo-Latanoprost
is intended for treatment of elevated fluid
pressure in the eye, in patients
with ocular hypertension and open-angle
glaucoma (a type of eye sickness).
HOW APO-LATANOPROST WORKS
Apo-Latanoprost is a solution for use
only in the eyes. The active ingredient
in Apo-Latanoprost is one of a group of
medications known as prostaglandins.
It helps to lower the pressure within the
eye by increasing the natural outflow of
fluid from inside the eye.
BEFORE YOU USE APO-LATANOPROST

_When you must not use it_

Do not use this product if you are
allergic to Latanoprost or any of the
ingredients in this medication.

_Pregnancy and lactation _
Do not use Apo-Latanoprost if you are
pregnant, trying to get pregnant or think
you may be pregnant.
Do not use Apo-Latanoprost if you are
breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or
pharmacist for advice before taking any
medicine.

_Before you start to use it _
Apo-Latanoprost contains a
preservative that may be absorbed by
contact lenses and stains them a brown
colour. Contact lenses can be
reinserted 15 minutes after applying
the eye drops.

If you are using more than one type of
eye drop medication, wait at least 5
minutes between each different eye
drop.
In addition, before using Apo-
Latanoprost, your doctor needs to
know if you have any other medical
conditions.
APO-LATANOPROST IS NOT
