WHAT APO-IRBESARTAN
IS USED FOR
Apo-Irbesartan is used for the treatment
of essential hypertension(high blood
pressure).
This medication can also be used for the
treatment of diabetic nephropathy
(nerves disorder caused by diabetes) with
an elevated serum creatinine and
proteinuria ( >300 mg/day) in patients
with type 2 diabetes and hypertension.
HOW APO-IRBESARTAN WORKS
Irbesartan is in a group of drugs called
angiotensin II receptor antagonists.
Irbesartan keeps blood vessels from
narrowing, which lowers blood pressure
and improves blood flow.

Do not use this product if you are
allergic to

_Pregnancy and lactation _
Do not take Apo-Irbesartan if you are
pregnant, trying to get pregnant or think
you may be pregnant.
Do not take Apo-Irbesartan if you are
breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or
pharmacist for advice before taking any
medicine.

Before you start to use Apo-Irbesartan,
your doctor should know if you have
any other medical conditions,
especially with regards to any
condition involving the heart, blood
vessels, or if you have any known
hormonal disorder, for example,
aldosteronism, in where Irbesartan
wouldn’t work.

Tell your doctor if you are taking any
