WHAT AMXOL IS USED FOR
AMXOL
is
used
in
respiratory
tract
diseases especially during inflammation
and asthma.
HOW AMXOL WORKS
AMXOL
contains
medicine
called
ambroxol
hydrochloride.
It
makes
the
mucus less viscous and thus facilitates it
expectoration.
BEFORE YOU USE AMXOL

_When you must not use it _
Do not use AMXOL and tell your doctor
if:
•
You are allergic (hypersensitive) to
ambroxol
or
any
of
the
other
ingredients of AMXOL.
•
you
are
in
first
trimester
of
pregnancy.

_Pregnancy and lactation _
_ _
Do
not
take
AMXOL
if
you
are
pregnant, trying to get pregnant or think
you may be pregnant.
Do not take AMXOL if you are breast-
feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking any medicine.

Read
this

carefully
before you start taking the medicine.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
taking

other
medicines,
including
any that you buy without a prescription

HOW TO USE AMXOL_ _

_How much to use _
Follow all directions given to you by
your
doctor
and
pharmacist
carefully.
They may differ from the information
contained in this leaflet. If you do not
understand the instructions on the label,
ask your doctor or pharmacist for help.
AMXOL TABLETS
Adult : 1 tablet 3 times daily.
The therapeutic effect may be enhanced
by administering 2 tablets 2 times daily.
The tablets should be taken with liquid.
AMXOL SYRUP
Adults and children over 12 years : 10 ml
2 times daily.
This regimen is suitable for the therapy
of acute respiratory tract disorders and
for
the
initial
treatment
