WHAT AKAMON IS USED FOR
AKAMON is used for severe anxiety
(very strong fear or deep worry that can
affect
feelings,
mood,
behavior
and
thinking patterns).
HOW AKAMON WORKS
AKAMON
belongs
to
a
group
of
medicines
called
benzodiazepine.
They
are
thought
to
work
by
their
action on brain chemicals.
BEFORE YOU TAKE AKAMON
_-When you must not use it _
Do not take AKAMON if:

You are allergic (hypersensitive) to
bromazepam, any of the other
ingredients of AKAMON or to
other ‘benzodiazepine’ medicines.
These include diazepam,
clonazepam, flurazepam and
temazepam.

You
have
severe
breathing
problems or lung disease.

You suffer from chronic psychosis,
phobic
conditions,
obsessional
conditions.
If you are not sure, talk to your doctor
or
pharmacist
before
taking
AKAMON.
Do not give AKAMON to children.
_Pregnancy and breast-feeding _
AKAMON
should
not
be
used
in
pregnancy, especially during first and
last trimester. Talk to your doctor
before taking AKAMON if you are
pregnant,
trying to
get
pregnant,
or
breast-feeding.
Your doctor will then decide if you
should
take
AKAMON.
This
is
because AKAMON will affect
your
baby. Irregular heartbeat, low muscle
tone, poor sucking and low in body
temperature
in
newborn
have
been
reported
If you are already taking AKAMON
talk to your doctor immediately, he
will decide if you should stop taking
this medicine.
Bromazepam is secreted in breast milk
therefore nursing mothers should not
take AKAMON.
_-Before you start to use it _
Check with your doctor or pharmacist
before taking AKAMON if:

You
have
liver,
kidney
or
lung
problems.

You
are
being
treated
for
depression.

You
have
a
condition
called
‘myas
