ACTIVE SUBSTANCE:
Each vial contains 1 g or 4 g of ceftiofur as ceftiofur sodium.

Powder for solution for injection.
White-to-beige (yellowish) amorphous powder.

CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 TARGET SPECIES
Cattle, pigs, horses.
4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
CATTLE
Treatment of cattle with acute bacterial respiratory disease in which _Mannheimia_
_haemolytica_, _Pasteurella multocida_, _Histophilus somni_ or other sensitive bacterial
pathogens of the respiratory tract are involved.
Treatment of cattle with acute interdigital necrobacillosis (foul in the foot)  in which
_Fusobacterium necrophorum_  and  _Bacteroides melaninogenicus_  are involved. As
with all antibiotic therapy, treatment of this condition with the product should be
instituted as early as possible in order to provide maximum clinical effect.
PIGS
Treatment   of   pigs   with   bacterial   respiratory   disease   in   which  _Actinobacillus_
_(Haemophilus)   pleuropneumoniae_,  _Pasteurella   multocida_  and/or  _Streptococcus_
_suis_ are involved.
HORSES
Treatment of horses with bacterial respiratory disease in which _Streptococcus _spp.
including _Streptococcus zooepidermicus_ and _Streptococcus equi_, _Staphylococcus_
spp. and/or _Pasteurella _spp._ _are involved.
