WHAT PORO
® CHEWABLE TABLET IS USED
FOR
Poro
®
Chewable Tablet is used to relieve
symptoms of common cold, fever,
headache, toothache and sore throat.
HOW PORO
® CHEWABLE TABLET WORKS
Poro
®
Chewable Tablet consists of
paracetamol, which is an analgesic that
relieves pain and an antipyretic that
reduces fever.
BEFORE YOU USE PORO
® CHEWABLE
TABLET
_- When you must not use it_
Do not use Poro
®
Chewable Tablet if
you have allergy towards paracetamol or
any components in this preparation.
Poro
®
Chewable Tablet is not suitable
for phenylketonurics (people who have a
metabolic disease where amino acid
builds up in the body).
_- Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
allergic to paracetamol or you have any
other health related problem. Inform
your healthcare providers if you have
suffered from kidney problems or liver
diseases. _- Taking other medicines _
Do not take other paracetamol
containing medicines at the same time.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking aspirin. Besides, you must
also inform your healthcare provider
about all the medicines you are taking,
including those without a prescription.
HOW TO USE PORO
® CHEWABLE
TABLET
_- How much to use _
Children 1 – 3 years: 1 tablet.
Children 4 – 6 years: 1 – 2 tablets.
Children 7 – 12 years: 2 – 4 tablets.
Doses may be repeated every 4 to 6
hours when necessary (Maximum of 4
doses in 24 hours). Do not exceed the
prescribed dose.
