organisms on the hulls of vessels or other surfaces in contact with
water.
CARBOLINE SEA BARRIER ALLOY 100 AU is a protective coating to control
the growth of
marine organisms below the waterline on aluminium, fibreglass, wood
and steel structures.

SURFACE PREPARATION/ REPAINTING
Waterblast: Low Pressure water clean the hull (immediately after
lifting the vessel) with
3,000 psi (minimum) to remove all marine growth, slime and salts.
Mechanically remove
any remaining shell growth. Unless the existing coating system is in
very good condition,
we recommend full removal of the aged antifouling. Thoroughly wet sand
with 80 grit paper
to remove any remaining slime, marine growth and hydrolysed
antifouling, and rinse with
fresh water. Allow to dry. The cleaned surface, once dry, should be
free of any residual
antifouling dust, dry slime or any other
