WHAT NUELIN SR TABLET IS USED FOR
Nuelin SR tablet is used to treat asthma
and other conditions where breathing is
difficult. It also helps to prevent
asthma attacks.
HOW NUELIN SR TABLET WORKS
Theophylline causes the muscle lining
of the airways to relax.
BEFORE YOU USE NUELIN SR TABLET
_-When you must not use it _
Do not use this medicine if you have
an allergy to:

any medicine containing
Theophylline

Xanthines

any of the ingredients listed at the
end of this leaflet.
Some of the symptoms of an allergic
reaction may include:

shortness of breath

wheezing or difficulty breathing

swelling of the face, lips, tongue
or other parts of the body

rash, itching or hives on the skin
Do not take this medicine after the
expiry date printed on the pack or if the
packaging is torn or shows signs of
tampering.
Nuelin SR tablet has been
recommended for you only. Do not
give it to anyone else even if they
suffer from the same condition.
Do not use Nuelin SR tablet to treat an
asthmatic attack. Use a reliever inhaler
(such as Salbutamol) instead.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
have allergies to any other medicines,
foods, preservatives or dyes.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
have had any of the following medical
conditions:

Reduced thyroid function

Congestive heart failure

Pneumonia

Viral infection

Liver diseases
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking any other medicines for
asthma.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are pregnant or plan to become
pregnant or a
