DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Addition of Altreno Oral in feed must be immediately given to animals
for feeding.
For oral administration –
Administer 1mL per 50kg bodyweight of ALTRENOGEST, which is equivalent
to 0.044mg altrenogest per kg,
daily by mixing with feed at a single feeding per day or administer
directly into the mouth with a syringe or
dosing gun.
Duration of treatment –
Administer ALTRENOGEST daily for 10 consecutive days for:
•
Induction of ovulatory oestrus in mares that are observed to have some
follicle activity early in
the breeding season
•
Induce cyclical ovarian activity in mares that are observed to have
some follicle activity early in
the breeding season
•
Suppression of oestrus that is persistant
Administer ALTRENOGEST daily for 15 consecutive days for:
