TO
USE:
DO

SITUATION

Moss,
Spread 200 grams over 20 square metres for moss
clover
control,
or
over
8
square metres for clover control.
An
application
of
300 grams
of
Sulphate
of
Ammonia
per
20 square metres is recommended at
the same time to
encoyrage grass to grow over bare
patches.
Moss
usually flourishes in badly drained areas and
shaded areas.
If
the
environment cannot
be
improved
sufficiently to discourage moss, frequent applications
will be necessary.
The lawn
may
appear blackened at
first but will recover to a dark green colour after
several days.
HOW
TO
APPLY:
As a guide,
one adult handful holds about 50 grams.
Apply in fine weather.
Spread evenly
over
the treated area.
Use
these rates
on affected areas only and as often as is necessary. Apply to
lawn
on a dewy
morning,
or
if
grass is
dry,
moisten before application.
Water thoroughly
after 2 days.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation:
Remove victim from area of exposure - avoid becoming a casualty. Seek
medical advice if effects persist.
Skin Contact:
If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin
with soap and water. If irritation occurs, seek medical
advice.
Eye Contact:
If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with
running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by
a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor, or for at least 15 minutes.
Ingestion:
Rinse mouth with water. If swallowed, give a glass of water to drink.
If vomiting occurs give further water. Seek medical
advice.
