Qualitative and Quantitative Composition: Pyrethrum Extract 25% 0.8% w/w Piperonyl Butoxide 1.0% w/w For full list of excipients, see section 6.1. 3. Pharmaceutical form: Cutaneous solution. A clear, yellow liquid. 4. Clinical particulars: 4.1 Target species: Cage birds e.g. budgerigars and canaries, and pigeons. 4.2 Indications for use, specifying the target species: Insecticidal spray to kill mites and lice on budgerigars, canaries and pigeons. 4.3 Contra-Indications: None stated. 4.4 Special warnings for each target species: None stated. 4.5 Special precautions for use: i) Special precautions for use in animals: For external use only. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. No smoking when using this product. Must be used in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe spray mist. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of accidental eye contact, wash eyes with copious amounts of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice Persons who are hypersensitive (allergic) to pyrethrum extract should handle the product with care. Treated animals should not be allowed to sleep or play with people, particularly children, until the animal is dry. Wash hands after use.
