Rapidly replaces fluid and electrolytes for the prevention and relief of dehydration caused by vomiting and diarrhea, fever, and heavy sweating, hot or dry conditions, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption and other dehydrating conditions. Hydralyte is specifically formulated to contain balanced essential electrolytes. It contains sodium - an electrolyte essential for water retention and rapid water uptake; and potassium - vital for nerve and muscle function. It also contains glucose to assist with the absorption of electrolytes and water. Hydralyte is readily absorbed making it possible to rehydrate quickly. Suitable for pediatric use. Suitable for use during pregnancy.
