What Denzo Tablet 5mg is used for
Indicated as concomitant therapy for
inflammatory oedema (accumulation of
fluid under skin tissue) and swelling.
How Denzo Tablet 5mg works
Denzo Tablet 5mg breaks down
exudates, mucus secretions and blood
clots and enhances antibiotic action
which promotes the transport of the
antibiotics to the lesion and thereby
enhances the action of the latter.
Before you use Denzo Tablet 5mg
- When you must not use it
Do not use Denzo Tablet 5mg if you are
hypersensitive to the ingredients of the
preparations or to Serratiopeptidase.
Ask your doctor or pharmacists for
advice before taking Denzo Tablet 5mg.
- Before you start to use it
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
have any of the following conditions:
- Blood clotting abnormalities
- Severe liver and kidney disturbances
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
under treatment of anti-coagulants to
prevent blood clot.
Tell your doctor if you are taking any
other medicines, including any that you
buy without a prescription from a
pharmacy, supermarket or health food
shop.
How to use Denzo Tablet 5mg
- How much to use
Adults: 2 tablets
Children: 1 tablet

- When to use it
To be taken 3 times a day.
Use as directed by your doctor or
pharmacist.
- How long to use it
Continue taking Denzo Tablet 5mg for

PHARMACODYNAMICS:
a)
Potent bradykinin-decomposing activity
Bradykinin,
phlogogenic
polypeptide,
is
locally
formed
in
the
presence
of
inflammation,
causing
inflammatory symptoms and dilatation and enhancing permeability of
capillary blood vessels, migration of
leukocytes and pain. Serratiopeptidase has been shown to exert a
bradykinin decomposing effect, which is
interpreted as representing a mechanism of anti-inflammatory activity.
b)
Fibrinolytic activity
As one of the anti-inflammatory mechanism of anti-inflammatory
enzymes, the enzymes themselves are
considered to relief the inflammatory symptoms by breaking down the
protein or fibrin which clog the
vascular
wall
of
inflammatory
focus
and
the
tissues
and
then
by
normalising
the
absorption
of
inflammatory exudate.
c)
Enhancement of Antibiotic action
Accumulation of fibrin and presence of necrotic tissues, disturb
transport of the antibiotic to the locally of
the morbid focus, leading to less therapeutic effect.
Serratiopeptidase helps to absorb or remove the
necrotic tissues and breakdown products, promotes transport of the
antibiotics to the lesion and thereby
enhance the action of the latter.
PHARMACOKINETICS:
It is absorbed after oral administration and distributes throughout
the body.
INDICATION:
As concomitant therapy for inflammatory oedema and
swelling.
RECOMMENDED DOSE:
Adults: 2 tablets. Children: 1 tablet.
To be taken 3 times a day.
