EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine transforms into the substance which accelerates the
peristaltic movement of
the intestine by bacteria in the large intestine. It consequently
enhances intestinal movements
by stimulating large-intestinal mucosa, and encourages defecation.
Usually, the bowel
movement is 8 to 10 hours after taking.
It is usually used to treat constipation.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: suspected acute abdomen (stomachache etc.), spastic
constipation, indurated
stool (the stool is set like a stone) or electrolyte malfunction
(especially hypokalemia).
If you are after abdominal surgery.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
