Read this package insert carefully in its entirety before
using this medicine
The format of this leaflet was determined by the Ministry of Health
and its content was checked and approved by it in 08/2008
FRESCO
Tablets
COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains:
Calcium Carbonate 500 mg
Magnesium Carbonate 12 mg
Inactive ingredients: Mannitol, maize starch, talc, lactose,
alginic
acid,
gelatin,
magnesium
stearate,
magnesium
trisilicate,
aerosil,
peppermint
oil,
spearmint
oil,
sodium
cyclamate, saccharin sodium.
Each tablet contains 1.4 mg sodium, 3 mg lactose and 0.2
mg saccharin sodium
Acid neutralizing capacity per tablet: about 10.5 mEq
Therapeutic group: Antacid.
Therapeutic activity: For the reduction or neutralization of
gastric acidity excess.
When should the preparation not be used?
Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of
its ingredients.
Do not use this medicine in case of hypercalcemia or
acute renal function impairment.
Do not use this medicine if you have symptoms of
appendicitis
or
intestinal
inflammation,
e.g.:
stomach
pain, nausea or vomiting.
Do not use this medicine if you suffer from kidney stones
or sarcoidosis.
Do not take this medicine without consulting a doctor
before starting treatment:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are suffering, or have suffered in the past, from
impaired function of the kidney/urinary tract, the thyroid
gland, the digestive system, e.g.: constipation or intestinal
obstruction, appendicitis, colitis, hemorrhoids, intestinal or
rectal bleeding, colostomy, ileostomy, diarrhea.
If you suffer from bone fractures, liver diseases, cardiac/
vascular diseases.
How will this medicine affect your daily life?
Avoid excessive use of tobacco, alcoholic beverages or
beverages containing caffeine.
Warnings: Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long
period, without consulting a doctor.
If
you
are
sensitive
to
any
type
of
food
or
medicine
