BRAND NAME: BLEO-S OINTMENT 5 MG/G ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Bleomycin sulfate DOSAGE FORM: clear to pale yellow, translucent ointment IMPRINT OR PRINT ON WRAPPING: ブレオ S 軟膏 5 mg/g, 5 mg(力価)/g, 5g EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE This medicine suppresses proliferation of tumor cells by breaking DNA strands in cells and inhibiting DNA synthesis. It is usually used in the treatment of skin cancer. THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR AND PHARMACIST. ・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods. ・If you have or have a history of lung disorder. ・If you have heart disease, renal or liver disorder. ・If you receive radiation therapy to chest and its periphery. ・If you have varicella (chickenpox). ・If you have received bleomycin/peplomycin before. ・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. ・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
