EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine decreases blood pressure by blocking β
1
-receptors. It also suppresses excess
activity of the heart, preventing angina attacks and controlling
irregular pulse.
It is usually used to treat essential hypertension (mild to moderate),
renal parenchymal
hypertension and angina pectoris.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, bradycardia,
atrioventricular block,
sinoatrial block, cardiogenic shock, right heart failure due to
pulmonary hypertension,
congestive heart failure or untreated pheochromocytoma.
・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
