AMPHOPRIM BOLUS
For the treatment of intestinal infections, diarrhoea and its
complications,
pneumonia and bronchitis, urogenital infections, metritis, pyometra,
septicaemias and joint infections in cattle, horses, sheep and goats.
NET CONTENTS: 20 BOLUSES
Back Panel:
EACH BOLUS CONTAINS:
Sulphamethoxypyridazine 1.0g, Trimethoprim 200mg
INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of intestinal infections, diarrhoea and its
complications,
pneumonia
an
bronchitis,
urogenital
infections,
metritis,
pyometra,
septicaemias and joint infections in cattle, horses, sheep and goats.
CONTRAINDICATION : NOT FOR USE IN BOBBY CALVES
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Oral treatment – 1 bolus per 50kg body weight to be given whole or
dissolved
in water.
Intra-uterine treatment – for metritis in cattle and horses, 1 bolus
placed in the
uterus.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MILK: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded
during
treatment and for 10 milkings (5 days) following the last treatment.
MEAT
:
Animals producing meat for human consumption must not be sold for
slaughter either during treatment or within 21 days of cessation of
the last
treatment.
