DESCRIPTION: Light brown to brown, slightly cloudy syrup with vanilla
flavour and aroma.
COMPOSITION: Each 5 ml contains: Ivy Leaves Extract Powder_ (Hedera
Helix)_ 35 mg
INDICATION: Traditionally used for relief of cough, throat irritation
and reducing phlegm.
CONTRAINDICATION: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to
plants of the Araliaceae family.
Children under 2 years of age because of the general risk of
aggravation of respiratory symptoms through secretolytic drugs.
SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Persistent or recurrent
cough in children between 2 – 4 years of age required
medical diagnosis before treatment.
When dyspnea, fever or purulent sputum occurs, a doctor or a
pharmacist should be consulted.
Caution is recommended in patients with gastritis or gastric ulcer.
This is a traditional medicine.

FERTILITY, PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: Safety during pregnancy and
lactation has not been established. In the absence of
sufficient data, the use during pregnancy and lactation is not
recommended.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: Gastrointestinal reactions (nausea, vomiting,
diarrhoea) have been reported. The frequency is not known.
Allergic reactions (urticarial, skin rash, dyspnea, anaphylactic

OVERDOSE: Overdose can provoke nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea and
agitation.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults: 5 - 7.5mL 3 times daily
6 - 9 years old and adolescents (10 - 12 years old): 5mL 3 times
daily.
2 - 5 years old: 2.5mL 3 times daily.
