The sterile water, as a raw material, which is used for the manufacturing of Versylene Sterile water and Versylene NaCl 0,9%, meets the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia "Water for injection", but on the final product Versylene, the particulate contamination (test on the final product required by European Pharmacopoeia - Ph. Eur. 2.9.19 - for the water for injection) is not measured. This measure on the final product is mandatory only for the preparations for injection. The conductivity is not routinely tested.
