4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
IVOMEC Classic Pour-On provides an effective control of the following
pathogenic
species of parasites of cattle:
GASTROINTESTINAL ROUNDWORMS:
_Ostertagia ostertagi_ adults & immatures*
(including inhibited stage)
_Haemonchus placei_ adults & immatures*
_Trichostrongylus axei_ adults & immatures*
_T. colubriformis_ adults & immatures*
_Cooperia_ spp. adults & immatures*
_Oesophagostomum radiatum_ adults & immatures*
_Strongyloides papillosus_ adults
_Trichuris_ spp. adults
LUNGWORMS:
_Dictyocaulus viviparus_ adults & immatures*
*Fourth-stage larvae.

IVOMEC Classic Pour-On given at the recommended dosage of 500
micrograms per
kg bodyweight, controls infections with _Trichostrongylus axei_ and
_Cooperia_ spp
acquired up to 14 days after treatment, _Ostertagia ostertagi_ and
_Oesophagostomum _
_radiatum _acquired during the first 21 days after treatment and
_Dictyocaulus viviparus_
(lungworm) acquired during the first 28 days after treatment.
It also controls horn fly (_Haematobia irritans_) for up to 35 days
after treatment.
4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to
any of the
excipients.
